Visible light astronomy
Visible light astronomy encompasses many observations via telescopes that work in the spectrum of visible light.
Visible light astronomy includes:
- Imaging, where a picture of object is created;
- Photometry, where the flux or intensity of the electromagnetic radiation created by an astronomical body is measured;
- Spectroscopy, where the distribution of light is analyzed with respect to different wavelengths; and
- Polarimetry, where the polarization is done and analyzed.
